I believe that embracing your natural texture is the key to gorgeous, healthy hair. I take the time to understand your hair’s unique characteristics and tailor my approach to enhance your natural curls. My personalized, one-on-one services ensure that every client receives the care, education, and attention they deserve.
How much do appointments cost?

Your first appointment (Curl Discovery Cut) is $175 for 90 minutes. This includes your haircut, in-depth consultation, styling education, product recommendations, and a complimentary treatment tailored to your hair’s needs.
For future appointments, pricing is based on your hair length and the services you choose. Since I’ve already taught you the foundations of caring for your curls, returning client appointments focus on your cut and styling, with treatments available as optional add-ons. This means your ongoing appointments will typically cost less than your first visit.

How can I book an appointment with Tawnia?
Booking is easy! Click the “Book Now” button below and fill out the First Service Consultation form. I’ll review it and send you a welcome email with next steps to complete your booking through my online calendar.

Which service should I book for my first appointment?
​
Most new guests should book the Curl Discovery Cut - this is the full experience including your haircut, curly hair education, and personalized product recommendations.
If you’re feeling nervous about seeing a new stylist or would like to discuss gentle gray coverage or root touch-ups before committing to a full appointment, you can book a New Guest Consultation first. This gives us a chance to meet, talk about your goals, and create a plan together.

Why do I need to fill out multiple forms?

Great question! The three forms serve different purposes:
The First Service Consultation is a quick screening form to make sure you have naturally curly hair and that my services are a good fit for what you’re looking for.
The Onboarding Form collects basic contact and safety information (emergency contact, allergies, etc.) so I have everything I need on file before your appointment.
The Experience Customization Form (filled out the day of your appointment) allows you to personalize your salon experience exactly the way you like it.
All three forms are short and help me prepare to give you the best possible experience!

How far in advance should I book?

My booking calendar opens one month in advance, so you’ll be able to schedule your appointment within the coming month. I recommend booking at least a couple of weeks ahead to secure your preferred date and time, as appointments, especially evenings and weekends, fill up quickly!

Can I book a same-day appointment?
I don’t offer same-day appointments. My booking system is designed to be hands-off and requires advance scheduling to ensure I can give each client the time and attention they deserve.
Can I get colour at my first appointment?
Colour services require either a New Guest Consultation or Curl Discovery Cut first. This allows me to assess your hair’s condition, discuss your colour goals, and make sure we’re on the same page about what’s possible before adding colour to a future appointment.
Do you do highlights or colour correction?
No, I specialize in gentle gray coverage, gray fading, and root touch-ups only. I don’t do highlights or colour correction.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Come with your hair in its natural state - not worn up in a ponytail or braid. You can have product in it, just shampooed and styled as you normally would within the last couple of days. This helps me see your natural curl pattern and assess your hair properly.
Should I come with clean or dirty hair?
Either is fine! I’ll be shampooing your hair during the appointment. Just make sure your hair is in its natural state (not worn up) so I can see your curl pattern.
How long will my appointment take?

Appointment times vary by service:
∙ New Guest Consultation: 15 minutes
∙ Curl Discovery Cut: 90 minutes
What payment methods do you accept?

I accept cash, e-transfer, credit, and debit. I do not accept American Express.
What is your cancellation policy?
​
I require 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. If you cancel or no-show within 24 hours of your appointment, there is a 50% rescheduling fee added to your next appointment.
